September 6th, 2006 Dan - Comparisons for 38 - 40 posted
It's been a slow month here on SMU I know, and even slower with stuff coming from me. But I can't have y'all loving Bob more than you do me, so I have made up from my lost time in one day. Behold! Comparisons for episodes 38, 39, and 40 have been completed. That's right, three comparisons for today, and now only four more left until the completion of the first season. It's taken way too long for us to finish this season, but we shall finally do it soon. I'm going to try to up my speed at getting these done, and with Bob working on them too, we shall have this season done in no time, and finally move onto R.
Onto other things, it would appear that I haven't talked about Project WikiMoon here yet. I thought I did, but I was mistaken. In any case, WikiMoon is a Sailormoon wiki that was started late this spring to become a comprehensive database for everything Sailormoon in the world, fandom included. We're nearing 1,500 articles as of right now, and have the potential for so many more. The beautiful thing is that being a wiki, anyone can contribute to it, hence why we've gotten so much done with it so far. I highly recommend going to WikiMoon for any info that you may want to see about SM, and I'd love it if anyone could contribute into it. We've got a great thing going so far, and I want to see it not lose any steam and continue to grow! ^_^

Episode 46 has been posted for your viewing pleasure! Yay! No more ridiculously hard comparisons anymore! Wheeee! I will be working backwards until SMC is finished. So the next comparison from me should be 44. Expect that soon.
PS - I'm totally beating Dan as far as comparison writing goes. Go me! (granted, I have been on like a 3 year leave of absence x_x;;;;;;;;; Oh well!) Enjoy!

July 29th, 2006 Bob - Episode 45 posted and the Return of Bob
Hello all!
Yes, I have returned. I am back. I am out of retirement, and I bring you a present. Episode 45!
Yes! I have returned to my roots in the comparisons section, and now me and Dan are going to be working together to get the comparisons section DONE. We're gonna work on Classic first, and then hit R full force.
Now, there is the possibility that some of you might be wondering WHY I'm back so soon, but we'll save that for another day. If you've been visiting the forums you'll have known that I've been back for quite some time. Anywho, expect Episode 46 soon, and more comparisons from dan.

July 15th, 2006 Dan - Episode 37 and a bit more
After a few months of being busy and a hell of a lot of changes, I am back with the comparison for episode 37. It's been long I know, but I'm hoping to get these out faster. It has taken longer than it should and I want to change that.
Also, we've got a suprise coming on the way soon. I won't say what is is or when, partly because that's not up to me, but I will say it is something you all have been looking forward to, coming faster than you think. I will leave you with that, keep your eyes open here.

May 26th, 2006 Dan - Domains moving soon
Well, I'm sure that everyone noticed that phobos has been pretty unreliable, especially in the past few months or so. Between problems with the server itself, added in with the internet around me sometimes acting up, and stupid 5-second power outages, the advantages of running everything from phobos just aren't there anymore. So sometime within a week, I will be moving everything on my domains to a reliable pay host. Everything will have 99.99% guaranteed uptime, and probably a lot faster than phobos. It was a fun project, but there's just been to many problems as of late to really keep it going. I don't know exactly when I'll be moving everything right now, but it will be within a week, and I will give a day or two notice before I do so. The forums will be turned off for the move until it's complete. I'm hoping that this will solve speed and reliability issues that we've been having lately.

May 19th, 2006 Dan - Robot Chicken Parody availble for download
I know it's been a really long since an update and I apologize. I've been going through a lot of changes these past couple months or so, and haven't really been able to do much with the site in that time. Today's update also isn't a comparison, which I apologize for, but there will be more shortly. I won't say excatly when since I don't know, but I do know soon.
Today's update is a little more special. It's been one that I had been hoping to put up for a good while, but lots of things got in the way in the process, including me forgetting about it after some time had passed. Thanks to the capturing and editting of forum user Sailorasteroid, I am proud to announce that SMU is now hosting the Robot Chicken parody of Sailor Moon. It's a nice quick laugh that I'm sure many of you will enjoy. ^_^

February 16th, 2006 Dan - Episode 36 posted and an announcement
Today, I have episode 36 up for everyone's reading pleasure.
Also, I have a small announcement. For those of you who have been around a while may remember, May is the time where I'm usually moving between two places and have to move everything off phobos to somewhere else for a short time and then back again. It's a pain in the ass for me as well as for anyone with an account on phobos as well as all visitors to anything on the server. Thankfully, this year I can say this won't happen. I'll be going right from this place to my new one, so the only transition this time around will be me driving phobos from here to the new place sometime in May.
To further ensure less chaos with everything on the server, right now I'm in training for a promotion to happen in a month or two. This will give me a much better cashflow, and when this happens, I'll be moving everything on the smuncensored.com domain to a pay server. Since moving to the place I'm currently in, there's been a lot of stupid glitchs with my internet and sometimes phobos as well. So there's been a lot of unnecessary downtime since summer that I'm not proud of. Once it's back to a pay server, problems on my end will no longer affect everyone else. Just something I wanted to point out to look forward to.

October 21st, 2005 Dan - RSS feed now up
As we all know, I love to code new little stuff for the site, and today is no exception. So for all you Internet savvy people, SMU now has an RSS feed. ^_^ For anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's basically an easier way to see if the site has been updated or not without always having to come here. Any explination I can do of it here probably wouldn't be that good, so if anyone doesn't know what it is, I'd google for info on it. In any case, the link to the RSS feed is here and there's a link to the front page as well.

October 18th, 2005 Dan - Weblog for Bob online
Non content for today sadly, however I finally did what I said I would a couple weeks ago, and have a web journal setup for Bob. Everytime he sends out an e-mail, I'll post it up in the log. He usually sends out e-mails on Mondays. Now anyone who's curious about everything he's up to can finally see just that. ^_^ There's a link to the journal in the front page now.

October 3rd, 2005 Dan - More cool code to show off
I finally added a nice little thingy to the site today that I've been working on for a little while this year. On the front page, there's now a little block labled "This day in Sailor Moon History," which is pretty much self explanitory. Right now events I have in the database are original air dates for original and dub episodes of the show, the birthdays of all the senshi, as well as the birthdates of the VAs of the original show. Kind of barebones for now, though I plan to add the original air dates of Pretty Guardian Sailormoon (live action series), release dates of merchandise on both sides of the ocean, big announcements, and start and end dates of big Sailor Moon sites. If anyone has any suggestions or anything for this new little block, please contact me.
For other things, at least one comparison will be added by the weekend. More screencaps should be added throughout the week too. Also non-SMU related, I've got Bob's first memory card full of pics and videos from his mission uploaded to his webspace. Click here for the folder listings. Since he e-mails us once a week, I'm going to code up a weblog to post his e-mails to so everyone who wants to can see what he's been up to on his mission. For now though, enjoy the new stuff up there, and I believe another memory card is heading my way, so more shall be added soon. Once I get the weblog setup, I'll link it on the main page and do any updates regarding him from there.
