December 31st, 2004 Bob - Episode 22 posted

So how does everyone like the new layout? Pretty spiffy images, huh? Gotta hand it to Tiff, she makes some of the best images I've ever seen.

Now, I'm really really really really sorry for taking so long with these episode comparisons. They've been sitting in my mailbox forever, I've just had absolutely no free time to do them. Luckily, I had the day off today, so Episode 22 has been posted in the series section. Episode 23 is waiting in my mailbox as well, and HOPEFULLY it will be up tomorrow. No promises though.

Peace out.

December 31st, 2004 Tiff - I'm alive, with new shiny images *_*

XD;; I LIVE! Yes, I know. It's been a while...but at least I have something really shiny and pretty for you! I present...The brand-new look for SMU! I made all new site buttons for the new year...I figured since I use Photoshop now, why not put it to good use? ^_^ and I've always loved artbook images...So here you are, a gift to all of you visitors, from me. Credits for the brushes used on the buttons goes to Mystery Brushes , whose site happens to be...different now. o_O; I'm not sure if the site is down or what, but..that's where I got the brushes ^^; Anyway, enjoy the buttons! Happy new year!

December 28th, 2004 Dan - Phobos welcomes Mew Mew Power Uncensored ^_^

Well, non-content (though Bob has two comparisons worth of content waiting to be added into the database sitting in his e-mail ^^;; ) but a pretty cool and rare kind of update nonetheless. Like I stated when first purchasing this domain a couple years ago, that the domain would be used primarily for SMU and any sites that the staff here run, and possibly any sites that impressed me that I thought would have great potential if moved off the free server they're using, where I would offer to host such a site (aka, don't come to me, I'll find you). While me doing anything like that pre-phobos would be next to impossible with the work involved messing around with a server that I didn't have full control over, doing something like this with phobos is a bit more possible, but still rare. However a rare occurance has happened, since I found a site one night and really liked it. It was another uncensored-type site nonetheless, and one I felt was put together well with what there was to work with in terms of content and optimizing it for fast load times and such. The only thing I didn't like about this site was where it was being hosted from, Geocities. Everything that made the site work so well was thrown out the window with ads and popups that they add. So I eventually decided to extend an offer to host the site here on phobos, and everything is setup and working for the site owner and the site itself.

So with all that long stuff (since it's a first time, it's necessary for that intro stuff), I'd like to welcome Mew Mew Power Uncensored onto phobos and this domain. I like what I've seen so far and think it's going to very well. ^_^

December 16th, 2004 Bob - Editorial on the SOS

Eep. Dan caught me offguard with moving that section, as I was meaning to write an editorial before he did. Well, I had to haul butt and write that editorial, so I did ^^;; It's up in the editorial's section for you all to read. It might be semi-controversial to some of you, but oh well. Enjoy. Or don't. It's up to you. But it's there so nyah! =P

December 15th, 2004 Dan - Anti-SOS section moved to archives

Not much today, just a couple minor changes. Due to there not going to be any more updates to the Anti-SOS section since the SOS is closed, Bob suggested that it get moved to the News/Misc page as an archive, so I did that. In the process, since Tiff is a con whore and I am in training of being one, I thought it would be a nifty thing to add a small thingy for us to have info on cons we'll be attending, so where the link to the Anti-SOS page was you'll now see the cons that this site's staff will be attending.

December 14th, 2004 Bob - Episode 21 posted

Sorry for the delay. This episode comparison has been ready for over a week now, but with finals, me getting sick, family things, and work, I just haven't had the time to put it into the database until just now. But now it's here, episode 21 is up for your viewing pleasure.

Also, Dan has BLESSED me (sarcasm) with two more episode comparisons that are waiting in my mailbox. Expect those up in the next few days (assuming I have time).

Oh yeah. And by the way, Dan, I hate you. *smile*

December 12th, 2004 Dan - New holiday logo and other stuff

In the holiday spirit, SMU has a new holiday logo up on the front page made by our very own Tiff. Also the brushes she used for this new banner goes to http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/11922807/ . Hope you all like it!

Also, episode 21's comparison should be up when Bob get's off his lazy ass and enters it into the database, and more will follow shortly. I'm hoping to get a few done before year's end, and they will come at a much faster pace when Christmas season dies down and will stay at such a pace due to me taking next semester off from school. Once I get the fast pace started, there should be no stopping it until the end, where there will be much celebration. ^_^

December 3rd, 2004 Bob - Episode 20 added

Episode 20 has been added to the series section, so go check it out. Sorry for the delay in episode comparisons. As Dan mentioned (I think), somehow episode 21 got skipped on his tapes. That's all been remedied now, so comparisons will be returning very shortly. Episode 21 is already waiting in my mailbox, hopefully that'll be up at the latest by monday. Dan's also really good about comparisons. Expect 1 - 2 a week from now on.

Also, I'd just like to say in a totally off topic nature, our new motto for "Sailor Moon Uncensored" is "Know Your Role, Biya." Seems like there are certain people out there who need to know their role, so know it, biya! What now? Huh? WHAT NOW? *cough*

*silence*

Just go check out the new comparison. And check back again this weekend.

October 29th, 2004 Dan - Apology and rant

No update, just an explination and apology as to what has been going on all week. To make a long story short, it appears that somehow a Time Warner bill hasn't gotten paid and they cut off the digital cable and internet to my house. My housemate who pays all the bills deposited a few checks just before this happened, and has been waiting for them to clear so those funds can be used to pay the bill(s). However, as of today, for whatever reason those checks haven't been added in yet, so there is still no internet at my house. Since it doesn't look like it will be back anytime this weekend knowing our luck, I've taken measures to get phobos back online until we do get it back. My longtime friend Kev has very graciously let me keep phobos at his house until the situation gets squared away, so the site can be onine like it should be. It appears that everything is working correctly as I type this, which I'm happy to see. And on another positive note for this inconvience, at least I can get phobos moved anywhere without a problem which will make things very easy when it comes time for me to move from where I am now to whereever I'll end up being this spring.

Once again, I deeply apologize for this inconvience. I had no idea that anything like this would happen. Had I known that today we still wouldn't have the internet, I would've moved phobos a few days ago. This should not happen again (with the exception of power outages or cable lines going down of course) and I'm sorry this happened at all.

On the note of comparisons, more are coming soon. The only reason the ball stopped rolling was that somehow on my dub tapes, an episode was skipped. Don't know whose fault that is since these tapes were made years ago, but I have recentally ordered a few of the dub DVDs with that episode as well as any potentially missed episodes. Also something worthy to note is that with the two versions of dub episode 41, since I'll now have both, I should have a lot more notes regarding the differences between those versions as well as versus the original. Hell for me, but good info for all of you. That's fairly far off still, but I thought I'd at least give it a mention.

October 13th, 2004 Bob - Episode 19 posted

Episode 19 has been posted in the series section. Enjoy.

October 10th, 2004 Bob - New editorial

I've posted a new editorial in the editorials section. Forgive me if it comes off as a big "vent" session, but there were some issues I felt needed to be addressed. Go check it out! More comparisons/updates/good fun stuff in the near future.
