March 24th, 2001 Dan - Two cents and news

No, I haven't been dead or anything, I've been working hard on redoing MKBO, which is actually somewhere near complete at the moment. But I decided to take a break for a couple reasons and do some stuff here. I've done my two cents for 143 - 145 in the series section. I've also added news about the SMR movie and the second and third S releases in the misc section.

March 18th, 2001 Bob - Episodes 143 - 145 posted and awards page added

Hola, minna-san! I have some things I wanna say! *ahem* Episodes 143, 144, and 145 have been added to the series section! That's right! There are now comparisons for those 3 episodes of the SuperS season! Also, we received our first award the other day and I promptly added an "awards" page to the front page. We're honored that you, our adoring fans, love us so much! We love you! We really do! *wipes tear from eye*.

That is all, please return to your regularly scheduled program.

March 15th, 2001 Tiff - New opinions essay

Tiff here. You'll never believe this...I have...a new...opinions essay. *is deafened by the gasps from the crowd* Yes, yes i know. it's been ages. But I've been extremely bogged down with college work, and now that i'm on spring break (yeah baby) I was able to actually DO something!! I do have an important announcement. I must sadly say that I must resign from adding my two cents to the ep comparisons. I'm not resigning from the SITE, I just can't add any more two cents until further notice. I haven't been able to watch SM since SMS ended, and i've only seen about 5 SMSS eps. That's how busy i am. so until i can catch back up (which probably wont be till summer), I will not be able to add anymore two cents. I will however, try to get some more essays in here. So feel free to keep emailing me! Anyway, enjoy the update. ja!

March 14th, 2001 Dan - Toonami pulls SMR movie from schedule

The craziness at Toonami doesn't seem to end. Go to the misc section to read the latest news on the SMR movie. I'm still waiting to see valid news about the next SMS DVD, as theres conflicting info from good sources, but one thing is for sure, April 10th is the next date, I hope they handle this release better than the last one. And re-doing MKBO has become my top priority for my time, so after I'm done with that, there will be some links added to the links page that a few of you have been waiting for.

March 5th, 2001 Dan - Editorial about the first SMS DVD

I watched the uncut dub this morning, and just finished the editorial about it. I really can't say much here about it without going into detal, but for the most part it's a great DVD and I'm sure everyone would enjoy it.

March 3rd, 2001 Dan - My DVD finally came

Well everyone, yesterday I FINALLY got my DVD. The editorial isn't done yet though, I still have to watch the uncut dub, then I can finish the editorial. It will be up by Monday evening. I'm not a person to make a note like this so people know whats going on and call it an update, I always like content when I update, so it's what I call a "real" update, so I added a couple things over in the misc section for you to see. Since some of you know about the next set of S stuff coming out on April 10th, I'm sure some of you wonder why I didn't make an update to the news part of the misc section on it. The answer is simple, theres conflicting information about the releases. If theres incertanties, whats the point in posting info about it? All you can really do is guess, and the only reason I did back in November about the S releases on Febuary 6th (which I will add that my guessing back in November was more accurate than SOS's article 2 days after the releases, I normally wouldn't metion SOS at all as Bob seems to enjoy it but their home video article really pissed me off and now makes me think of them nothing more than a poorly done fansite) was because there was only one place that had any information at all and was a relible source. This time around, we have more than one relible source and their data doesn't match, hopefully it will soon. Also, some of you have sent in linkl submissions over the past couple of weeks. I HAVE gotten them, don't think I haven't or that I've been ignoring you, thats not the case. I just haven't gotten around to it, a good portion of the time I spend on the computer lately is into redoing MKBO, which has been going well. I will get to doing the links section, but I'm unsure excatly when at this point.

February 27th, 2001 Bob - Corrections

Umm, hey everyone! I made a quick update to the latest SOS article...Apparently, season 4 of ReBoot is already in production ^^;;;;;; Heh, boy was I embarressed. I guess that's what I get for not being a big ReBoot fan *sweat drop*...Anyway, I put a big note under that paragraph so go to the SOS section if you wanna read my little side note thing....Heh......*sweat drop*

February 26th, 2001 Bob - More Anti-SOS stuffies

Hola! I added more stuff to the SOS section. Wow, SOS just doesn't know when to quit, do they??? Have fun!

February 25th, 2001 Dan - Two cents update and a quick rant

First off, I did my two cents for 140 - 142. I would've had them done right when they were put up last night, but I was practically falling asleep when Bob was finishing up the HTML and it showed, I wasn't making any sense to me. Bob can verify that, I was messed up by the time he finished ^_^ Now, I know that you're all waiting for me to review the SMS DVD like I said I was going to since it was announced. As most of you know, I pre-ordered it off amazon.com. However, Pioneer has been very selective about who gets what with the SMS releases, with Suncoast getting spoiled to hell. Within a week, their pre-orders were taken care of and people could walk in the store (or a couple weeks later, go to their site) and buy what they want at will. But anyone who either doesn't have a Suncoast store near them or can't order from their site for one reason or another (like me) have pretty much been screwed. So why haven't I done anything to get it quicker? Simple. I'm patient, very patient, I think I must've forgotten to tell everyone that. I have no reason to do anything to get the DVD here as I have more than enough to do. I've been doing my normal after school activities, my homework for once, as well as redoing MKBO and spending time with my friends. Also, I'm not able to swtich between online stores at will and don't have a reason to. And finally, if I swtiched, I'd be paying more money and I wouldn't want to do that now^_^ But don't worry, the review will be done soon, as amazon.com got their shipment today and the pre-orders have been shipped. I think it's sad saying PRE-orders have been shipped almost 3 weeks after the release, but I should have the DVD in by the end of the week, and hopefully the review over the weekend. I've waited a couple years for SMS, a few extra weeks doesn't matter to me (as you've guessed) and I'm glad that I'll finally be able to have it this week, and I hope you all like the review and that it convinces you to get the DVD or any of the other S products if you don't have a DVD player.

February 24th, 2001 Bob - Episodes 140 - 142 posted

Hey all! Sorry about the long delay, but episode comparisons 140, 141, and 142 are all up! That makes the count 53 (i think)! I would have done these sooner but I couldn't find the time...I'll try and update on a bi-weekly basis from now on (that means every other week). Hopefully my schedule will allow me to do this. I hope you enjoy!

February 11th, 2001 Bob - Quickie news

Just a small, quick update. I added a quick "UPDATE" note in the SOS section for the article of "02/09/01". It's concerning how many VHS will be on the DVDs. Go there and read it, as it's fairly important.

I'll just give you the low-down here. Pioneer's next two volumes will be coming out on April 10th. ^_^ They will be titled, "Labyrinth" and "Birthday Blues" (according to Pioneer's website). While Pioneer's website shows that there will be 1 VHS per DVD, other reliable news sources are saying there will be 2 VHS per DVD. I personally hope it's 2 per VHS since that's a better deal. Only time will tell ~_^.

February 10th, 2001 Bob - More Anti-SOS stuff

Wow, this has been a busy couple of days! It turns out that the SOS is now COVERING ITS TRACKS! They changed all info that reported that the DVD only had 6 episodes and each VHS only had 3. Ha! Like I'm gonna let them get away with that! I made sure to make a note of it in the Anti-SOS log.

Also, if you've missed out on the last few days, I highly reccomend scrolling down and checking out ALL the updates we've done in the past few days. A lot of important and interesting stuff has happened here, and I would really feel bad if any of you missed out on it.

February 9th, 2001 Bob - Anti-SOS update

After months of dormant activity, the SOS is back at it again. This time they've just made utter fools out of themselves. It's beyond me just disagreeing with them, they're flat out reporting false information now. I highly urge you all to goto the SOS section on the main page to see what they've done now. It's really bad...

February 9th, 2001 Tiff - New editorial

Tiff here...All I gotta say is read the new editorial. Over and out.

February 9th, 2001 Bob - Quickie DVD review

I got my DVD yesterday!!! Yes! I'm so happy! I know Dan's doing an editorial, but I wanna give you guys my two cents about it right now. I'm not going to go into too much detail, as I don't want to steal the lime-light from Dan, but I will tell you that all seven episodes are there, sub and dub. The dub is "uncut", meaning that no cuts were made but the script for the dubs are the exact same as the Toonami version. The cover art is simply AMAZING!!!!! It's a TRULY reversable cover and I'm scanning them in as we speak. You can click the links at the end of this post to see them. The animation during the menus and the extras were VERY well done, but I'll let Dan handle those. Interestingly, the animation during the opening theme song is the WRONG animation. It is the animation that is supposed to be used after Sailor Moon gets the Holy Grail. The reason for this (as brought up by BorParadox from AFSM) was because that intro was the only one without the Kanji, so it wasn't Pioneer's fault for the mix-up, it was Toei's. Another weird thing were the absence of the preview for the next episode. They were nowhere to be found. The opening preview was still there but the ending preview was not. For the most part, the translation was MUCH better than VKLL's, but a little thing that urked me was that they called the daimons "daimohns". Not a big deal, just a pet peeve of mine. Ok, finally, it's quite obvious that the DVD is aimed towards the sub fan, considering that the backside refers the the senshi as "soldiers" and uses the character's Japanese names. Alright! I'll leave the rest up to Dan! Here's the WONDERFUL REVERSABLE COVER ART!! It's awesome!

Sorry, I did the best job I could scanning these in with equipment that I have. I tried to get the text as readable as possible, but the smaller text is a little tough. I also apologize for the size of these pics, but I think this way was best.
