July 14th, 2001 Dan - Link submission closed

I hate doing these, but this is a non-content update. Link submissions are now closed, any link recieved after this point won't be considered. I should have the page updated within the week. Also, go see the Final Fantasy movie, it's done very well and a really good movie to boot. Square did a kick-ass job with it and I recommend that everyone go and see it. You won't regret it.

July 10th, 2001 Dan - News from Anime Expo

There's been some Sailor Moon news from Anime Expo. Something breifly metioned a few days ago finally gets some light shed on it, and a little bit more as well. Now, this all might be considered a bit old by now, and there's a reason for me not posting it earilier. Basically, I got busy doing stuff over the weekend and forgot to tell anyone that Sunday and most of Monday, I would be at SUNY Oswego for orientation. I had a great time there, I'm back, and I think I've caught up with everything, so head on over to the misc section to see the news.

July 7th, 2001 Dan - More news

Added a small news post to the misc section. Go and see for yourself, I don't feel like typing anything about it in here. Now, on a different and lighter note, only 2 link submissions were sent to me, and I've gotten lots more in the past, so I'm extending the deadline to July 14th. If you want your site linked in our link section, please get your submission in. More details on the links page.

June 27th, 2001 Dan - News added and corrected

There's a correction to be made on the post from earilier. Also, Tiff has cracked a rumor from the past that's coming back to haunt us, so theres a news post on killing that off.

June 27th, 2001 Dan - New news article

Something's up at Toonami. Head on over to the misc section to see what.

June 26th, 2001 Dan - Boredom = stuff for site

I got bored, so what do I do? I go and make prections for the SMSS releases. Yes, I know it's WAY too early to start thinking about it, but I thought what the heck? Some people might be curious, may as well put it up just so it's there. I also cleaned up the news part of the misc section, you'll see how when you go there. Also, I've decided to change the way the links section is run. Until now, it's been send a link, hope that it gets put up sort of deal. Well, it's very obvious I've been lazy with that, so I've decided to modify the process. Instead of how it was, every now and then, I'll start up link submission process. It will be as follows. At certain points of time, I'll accept link submissions for a week, then update the section within a week of the deadline with all the new links added to the section. I will start accepting submissions today and accept them until July 3rd, any after that date will not be considered. Hopefully this process will work out better that the last.

Also, I thought I should add my input in on the SOS situation that occured on Saturday. First off, the program that runs the MKBO Hubs, Direct Connect, is more of a file sharing program than a chat program, so things such as a time stamp don't exist on it. So I apologize for not being able to provide one. I wish I had known that the guy was an SOS-er befire I told him about Stars, it would've been funny to see SOS make this article that had no truth whatsoever based on an April Fool's Joke. (In case anyone is wondering, I didn't post the Stars rumor in the news because it was a rumor, and there was no solid evidence to it. For some reason, this rumor came up from an April Fool's joke, and hit lots of anime news sites, but the author came foward and admitted it after seeing how widespread it had become.) After beating myself up for saving SOS's ass. But then I got a nice graduation gift when I found out that guy was from SOS and was able to drag out the info I did. I hope you all enjoyed it like the three of us here at SMU did. I just apologize that theres no time stamp for you all to see how much time passes between each line and that I didn't get the guy's e-mail. While I wouldn't post it on here, it would be nice to follow up on what I found if I can. Hopefully I'll see the guy in the hubs again and find some more stuff out if I can.

June 23rd, 2001 Bob - Anti-SOS update

There's an interesting conversation that Dan had with a supposed member of the SOS that's up in the SOS section. We'll be monitoring the situation for the next few weeks to see if anything arises out of that.

Also, I archived older entries in the SOS section as that page was getting pretty big (almost 50k). You can view older entries by scrolling down and clicking the link in the SOS section.

June 21st, 2001 Bob - Various things

Hey everyone! How are you guys doing out there? Hopefully you're all doing good. Umm....hmm...what was I going to say.....*thinks*....Umm.....Can't quite.....remem-Oh! I remember. I wanted to talk.....For awhile.....About something......Updates....Yeah, that's it......updates......

Anyway, first I wanna talk for a bit. I'm sure most of you are aware of the death of DBZ Uncensored. Personally, I was very shocked....And a bit angry. I had really been looking forward to seeing what had been edited out of Season 4....And I guess now I'll never know. I know that Chris wants someone to start up a "DBZ Uncensored 2" or something, but really....It wont be the same. Chris is SUCH a good writer...I don't think anyone will ever be able to take his place. He also has such witty and humorous comments, and few people will be able emulate it. I'm just bummed about his departure. Oh well, life goes on, I guess....*CRY SOB* Oh, and Chris said it felt like he was breaking up with 100,000 people or something along those lines, and basically I can totally relate with that. I feel like Chris is breaking up with me. I want my motorcycle, my gold watch, _AND_ my swimming pool that I bought for you back, Chris!! Oh wait....*cough*....Umm....never mind......*cough*

Well, onto actual content updates. First off, there's been a heavy demand for me to continue working on the SOS section, so I did and a new entry has been put up in there. There's also an explanation as to why I haven't been updating it much recently. I'll try to update it more often from now on, since you guys love it so much ~_^.

Next, I got my DVD on Wednesday! Really, not much to say about it. The only thing worth mentioning was that in the subtitles, the spelling of "Eudial" went from "Eujial" in Heart Collection II to "Eugeal" in Heart Collection III. Weird, huh?? The extras were a gallery of Chibi-Moon and the original opening showed for the first two episodes of S. I'm sure this was very welcomed to those fans that really disliked the change in openings. Now for the cover art! I scanned these in the best I could, but the colors aren't as vibrant as I had wanted them to be, oh well, though.

Heart Collection III Front Art
Heart Collection III Reverse Art
Heart Collection III Insert

Umm, I think that's all for now, except....Don't you think Lara Croft is really hot in her new movie? Sorry....I had to say it *drool*

June 17th, 2001 Dan - Caught up

Added my two cents for 161 - 166, finishing up SuperS as Bob as mentioned. He says he has to wait for taped DiC episodes to do C and R, well isn't it a coincidence that I just found Sailor Moon on my local Fox station? Heh, hopefully they will be near the end of their R run soon so they'll start over from episode one so we can get these things rolling. I'm gonna do what I can so he doesn't get much of a break. ^_~ I'm taping tomorrow's episode, I'll tell you which one it is and make a plan from there for taping them and sending to Bob. Let's all just hope that we're really lucky and that episode one airs tomorrow morning so I can send the first tape of episodes in only a few weeks. Enjoy the rest of SuperS reviews and comments, as well as your summer vacation! I can't wait for June 24, I graduate from high school! Woohoo!!!

June 17th, 2001 Bob - SuperS complete

The day has finally come....Drum roll please!

The last 6 comparisons for the SuperS season are now up in the series section! That's right! Episodes 161 - 166 are now up in the SuperS section of the series section! Yay! Finally done! Finally done!!!!! Woooo! *does a happy dance*

So I know what the question on most of your minds is - "What's next?". Well, next I plan on doing comparisons for the movies. Hopefully that'll hold everyone over until I can get some taped episodes of the DiC series. As for now, enjoy the new comparisons! All 77 new episodes that premiered Last June have been compared! Yay! Wooh! Wooohoo!! YAY~~~~!

Also, Terrashare STILL hasn't gone down yet! What's going on over there???

June 14th, 2001 Bob - Small things today

Hey all! A few things I need to say... First, we've received another award! It's up in the awards section, however, I seem to have misplaced the original email that it was sent with, thus I have no clue on where to link it to or who to thank. If you were the one that created that award, please e-mail me ASAP so that I can put the vital stuff up.

Next, Monnie was nice enough to edit our banner so that it had our new address on it rather than the old one. If you have the old banner on your site linking to us, please replace it with this one. Again, thanks again for your cooperation in this. Having to change hosts was a pain in the @$$ but all you guys have made it much easier.

Finally, be on the lookout for two things in the upcoming week - First, my mini-review of the SMS DVD "Heart Collection III" along with the cover art for it. Unfortunately I haven't gotten it yet since Suncoast seems to not have gotten it yet, GRRRRR! Pioneer is holding out on me AGAIN! Just like with Heart Collection I......Next, look for new comparisons! I'm finishing up some comparisons so expect to see new ones in about a week or so at the latest.

Sore ja!

June 12th, 2001 Dan - News article on SMS

I now know almost all the information on all the future S sets coming out. Head on over to the misc section and read my latest article there about it all. Also, the third set has been offically released today, so be sure to go out any buy it and Bob should be updating soon about the Heart Collection III DVD that came out, so be sure to stop in later for that.

June 9th, 2001 Dan - SMS release info

Well, it's two days after terrashare said all accounts will be deleted, and they haven't. Guess they don't know how to shut down properly or anything. *sigh* We said that there wouldn't be any updates until June 7th after they deleted everything to prevent confusion between the two servers that host the sites, but since it's after the date we specified we wouldn't update until, and that I've had a small piece of news to put up that I've been waiting to do since early this week, I'm updating now. Head on over to the misc section to see a small clip regarding the fifth S release.

June 2nd, 2001 SMU Staff - Site moving

Well, if you're here you must've clicked the "emergency announcement" at the top of the front page, and yes, this is a dire day for us, the staff.

You see, I (Bob) was casually talking with Dan today and was mentioning some things about terrashare to him. Thus, on a whim, I decided to visit terrashare.com to check on my account stats. When I got there, I was shocked to find an announcement saying that on June 7th, ALL TERRASHARE SITES WOULD BE DELETED. I was not only shocked but also angered because I had not gotten any e-mail notification from Terrashare about this.

So now, all three of us are all trying to frantically find a new host and do ALL of the annoying stuff that you do when you first open a site ALL OVER AGAIN (like the search engine stuff, notifying people, all that stuff). So far, we've decided on a temporary solution. Sailor Moon Uncensored will be moving to tuxedomask.com. The new address will be http://smuncensored.tuxedomask.com. We would ask all those that have links to us to please update them and for everyone to update their bookmarks IMMEDIATELY. The terrashare account wont automatically redirect you to the new site, so it's very important you update your links and bookmarks. This is just as annoying for us as it is for you, and we _REALLY_ appreciate the cooperation you're giving us. So, up until and including June 7th, there will be NO site updates at all on either this server or the tuxedomask.com server (to prevent confusion). Once the terrashare server is deleted, normal updates will resume on the tuxedomask.com server. Again, we really appreciate your cooperation with us. We thank you for all the love and support, you the fans, have given us throughout our wonderful 10 month stay at terrashare, and hope that our new residence at tuxedomask.com will serve to be just as pleasing.

Finally, if _YOU_ own a terrashare.com site, I advise you to move all of your information to a new server IMMEDIATELY. The reason for this is because Terrashare has NOT sent out any email notification about this situation, and frankly, they might not at all. We wish any and all other terrashare sites good luck in their move, especially DBZ Uncensored. Good luck you guys!!

June 1st, 2001 Bob & Tiff - 100,000 hit milestone reached ^_^

Well, here I am. The proud webmaster of a site that has breached the 100,000 hit mark. In fact, now we've breached the 101,000 mark too. I never though SMU would _EVER_ grow to become as popular as it is now, and the fact is, it's _STILL_ growing more and more popular. I'm very grateful to every single person who has visited this site, and I'd do some shout outs, but I'm much too afraid that I'll forget someone. Anyway, onto some actual CONTENT updates.

Yeah.....Content updates...*cough*...Not much in the way of THOSE today....We got two more awards so I put those up.

Also, if you scrolled down on the front page, you will have noticed a new button with "TOONAMI" on it. If you clicked the button you would know that it links to "campaign" sort of place where the guy from CNX is trying to save Toonami. I know what you might be thinking...."I thought you didn't like Toonami!" Well, let me explain. I know I wrote that long article on how I don't like how Cartoon Network treats Sailor Moon, and my opinion about that hasn't changed. Still, Toonami has some GREAT programs such as Gundam, Outlaw Star, Tenchi, and the soon to be aired Dragonball series. Now, I'd HATE to see these great shows be mingled with the likes of Cardcaptors, Pokemon, and other "kiddie" shows. That's why SMU will be officially supporting this campaign. This was actually Dan's idea, I'm just merely presenting it to all of you ~_^

Well, that's all for this time, c ya'll later! I'll now hand the mic off to Tiff with her comments on hitting 100,000.

100,000!! I tell you what, way back in the summer when we started this thing, I never imagined it would escalate to this. We put a lot of work and effort into this site, and if it weren't for the many otaku who want to see the truth about BSSM, we never would have made it here. ok, so i sound like an academy award recipient thanking fans =P but really...we've dealt with flamers and people who accuse us of stealing Chris's (btw, you're the man chris) site. Yet we kept going becuase we knew that there were people out there who appreciated our cause, and i thank you. We hope that the future of SMU only holds good. Arigato Gozaimasu!!
