Ahh, December! My favorite month of the year! Personally, I have the most fun in December. I find that half of the fun of Christmas is doing pre-Christmas stuff, like putting up lights, putting up a tree, wrapping presents, etc. ^_^ Such a joyous time of year.
Anyway, as you may know, the final S DVD came out this past Tuesday. I've since picked it up, watched it, and have my mini-review here for you! Apparently, Suncoast has an "exclusive" version of the Sailor Moon S DVD. In this package, you get the Sailor Moon S Heart Collection VI DVD, along with the Sailor Moon 10 Graphic Novel from TokyoPop (chronicling the end of the Infinity Arc, which coincides with the S season). It retails for $34 at Suncoast, a mere 5 dollars above the regular DVD so if there's a suncoast in your area, I'd highly recommend you getting it. I'd give you scans of the actual package, but since my scanner is a "feed it in" type of scanner, I'd have to rip the box apart to do that and I don't want to ^_^;;;
As for the DVD itself, it contains the last 7 episodes of S. It unfortunately does NOT contain the end of episode previews like everyone had hoped. It looks like those will be lost forever. The sound quality for the Japanese track is, again, poor in quality. It sounds muffled and faded, but nothing too different from the other discs. However, this disc contains some of the best episodes in the S season, so I recommend picking it up. Here's the cover art for you people! ^_^

I think that's all for now. I'll be back soon, I promise!
Well, there's a few things I've been meaning to update and all, but due to a lot of work this week returning from Thanksgiving break, and an illness on Tuesday when I was planning to do a lot of work in my free time, I didn't get to it. Actually, I still haven't gotten to all of it, but started to today by adding my two cents to episodes 2 and 3. Hopefully I'll get to the rest tomorrow.
Hey all! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Being that it is Thanksgiving and I had a four day weekend, I decided to get off my lazy butt and do something. Thus, episodes 2 and 3 are now up in the series section! YES! Run, my children! Run! *dodges beer cans being thrown*
Bob may be the one who writes almost everything outside the two cents boxes and mine and Tiff's sections of the site, but another thing he doesn't write is the mini review of the season when you click on it's box. That's my job, and by not telling us he was gonna post the first episode when he did (come on, three updates in one day on Tuesday? you all know that that ain't right, heh), obviously one wasn't prepared for the first season (well, I needed a small reminder too ^^;;;;). So, now one is, and thank God that I remembered that I already wrote one for each season a year ago and had all my really old MKBO HTML, or else for a first season summary you'd be reading me babbling on like I am now about to go to bed, rather than the much better written (yes, I started writing one over again before remembering I wrote one, and it sounded like crap compared to what's there now) one I wrote when I was fully awake and doing it for a class as well (two birds with one stone, damn I'm good). Also, before I got into the semi-consinciuls I am now as I type this, I did my two cents for the S movie after it aired, so be sure to go chack that out as well. Now, I'm going to bed and shall be much more coherent and understandable when I awaken in nine hours.
Did my two cents for the first Classic episode..*shudder* kill it...kill it now...this is one of the few times i'm THANKFUL that cloverway took over.
I wrote the "First Batch in Review" for the newly opened classic section so go check that out if you want.
In other news, I knew that doing that comparison yesterday would be a bad idea. It took so much out of my day that I ended up looking at the clock at about 9 PM, and realized I hadn't done any of my homework yet. Yeah, that sucked. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about when I say I'm really busy and don't have time to do the comparisons. Luckily, my next 3 weeks are shortened so I'll try and squeeze in a few new ones then.
Onto other things now - I'm sure you're well aware I got a new computer ^_^. It's really cool, and fast too. 1.2 Ghz Celeron Processor (As compared to my Pentium 133 Mhz), 60 GB of Hard disk space (As compared to my 3 GB), 256 MB of RAM (As compared to my 32 MB), 56k modem (as compared to my 28.8 on my old one), so yeah, it's really nice. It also has a DVD-ROM drive on it, so that opens multiple possibilities for me that I've been experimenting with lately.
Well, enough of me talking....I'll stop wasting your time now, bye!
Semi-big update for me, I don't think I've ever done so much at once, and all of which are somewhat unexpected. First off, I added my two cents for the first episode, and while that sounds like normal and nothing suprising, I'm sure hardly anyone expected me to put what I did on there. Next off, I have not one, but TWO news articles posted up, both unexpected in their own ways, so be sure to check those out as well.
Well, I know a LOT of you have been waiting for this day, and today I'm proud to announce that it's finally here. The Sailor Moon Classic section is now open!!!
Unfortunately, only one comparison is up for now, but after you see how GIGANTIC it is you'll understand why there's only one. Seriously, the DiC episodes are MUCH MUCH MUCH more difficult to do comparisons for than the Cloverway episodes, so don't be suprised if they take me longer to do. Anyway, go ahead and check it out!!
Another semi-late news addition regarding the final S covers. This is late because of a combination of me being busier than normal over the past week, as well as me waiting for better scans and minute counts, where neither of which have popped up after about a week. So instead of waiting longer, I decided to put up what there is, so go over to the misc section to see.
Good news everyone, Bob has gotten a kick ass new computer due to the problems with the one he was using. It's about time he got something new, the one he was using was quite outdated, he didn't even have a 56k conection! O.O He says that "good things" will eventually come with his new system, and I'm not about to spill the beans on that. ^.~ Also, he has recieved all his R subs as well, so he can do the R comparisons now when he gets to them. So why am I making this update and not him if everything is going great over there? Well, he's too lazy to install CuteFTP at the moment and is so excited about getting his R subs two weeks early, that he's watching them right now and asked me to do it for him. That's right, instead of doing the work to do his own update and start comparions for the first season, he is using his time purely for the pleasure of watching SMR subbed. Yep, that's right, Bob's gonna make us all wait even longer for these comparisons just for his own pleasure. >.< I'll be doing my best to get his ass on the right track, don't you all worry. ^^
Well, today I have to make an update I hate making. An update that is non-site-content. I have two pieces of news to give you. Like all news that comes in pairs, there's one that's good, and one that's bad. I will start off with the bad. While Bob was on AOL last night, his system crashed. While this is quite normal for anyone who uses a computer for a system to screw up somehow, when he rebooted all his registry settings were somehow screwed up by AOL. For those of you have never heard of the registry, to put it very basically and bluntly, if something bad happens to it, you're computer is fucked up beyond imigation and is close to beyond repair. Repair is possible, but in his case, getting a new system would be better, he probably won't be able to do anything online with that one anymore. He was able to use his mom's laptop to come online and tell me this, but the problem with that is his mom is a flight attendant and always takes that whereever she goes, so Bob is pretty much screwed out of any internet access for a while. Now, the good news. Bob is gonna need something to do while he can't use the internet. So how ironic is it that my dub tapes I sent him arrive to him today? So now instead of waisting all his precious time on AOL and put off comparisons like he did with the SS movie, he can actually start his notes for the first 20 dub episodes of the first season! ^^ It's funny how things can work out that way. Speaking of dub episodes, I think I have a plan with someone to get what I'm missing which seems to have been timed almost perfectly. More details to come as things work out.
Yes....Finally....Over two months in the making, Sailor Moon Uncensored finally presents to you the best piece of work ever....The Sailor Moon SuperS Movie Comparison! Yay! *the crowd goes wild*
Mosey on over to the Series section and check out the final movie comparison!!
Well, SOS has changed their story, so I've added more stuff to the SOS section. Oh yeah, cross your fingers for two things this weekend. First, a comparison, second, a package containing old school Sailor Moon dub episodes for me. I'll be a happy man if I get both of those this weekend ~_^.
I always seem to find the coolest stuff when I'm not even trying. Pioneer has announced the first set of the SuperS releases, and you can read about it in the misc section.
I've got a small news blurb in the misc section. It's old news (as in I should've posted it a couple weeks ago), but still good news to post nonetheless. And to (hopefully) put Bob in a better mood, today I shipped him a bunch of tapes (well, actually early September I did but we're not gonna get into that here, Dan is baka, that's all you need to know) that he should be getting either late this week or early next week. I'm sure you're all going to love to know what's on those tapes, as they're quite important to SMU. I have sent him the first half of the dubbed first season (dub episodes 1 - 20) and the entire dubbed Black Moon arc of the second season (dub episodes 54 - 82). Since I intially went to ship those tapes (over a month ago), I had gotten the rest of the first season minus the last five episodes. Apparently my local FOX station didn't want to finish the season out or something, so the last week of the first season was taken off unnannounced. Imaging seeing my suprise playing back the tape the day the schedule change took place and seeing The Cosby Show instead of Sailor Moon. So I'm going to see what I can do to get the rest of the first season as well as the Doom Tree arc of the second. If anyone feels they can help me, please e-mail me, thanx!
