First off, the insane guy is serious, he has notes done for episode 10 and plans to get 11 and 12 done very soon as well. Just watch the movie and tell him what you thought of it so we can get him doing actual work again. >P
Now, the real reason why I updated, ADV has announced yet another set of the dub DVDs. Head on over to misc and read the latest article for the details.
I'm back, and bitter. Grrrrr I say. No one emailed me about "Life as a House". I'm sad. You guys suck. You really really need to see that movie. Anyway, since no e-mails about Life as a House, no comparisons =P. But I do have some good news. I've added screen caps for episodes 110 - 114. Now, before you ask, yes, I'm well aware that technically there's no caps for episode 114. Why, you ask? Because there really wasn't anything cut that was worthy of taking a screen cap. *shrugs* Oh well.....Till next time!
Hi ho everyone. Are you well? No? Yes? Maybe? Yeah, that's nice....or something. Do you guys want some episode comparisons?!?! Yes!?!? Do you want more screen caps?!? Yes?!? Well too bad, you're gonna have to wait some more cause there aren't any ready to go up yet. =)
However, I DID do something. I went back and pretty much finished the "cleaning up" I've been meaning to do for months now. Stuff in the about us page, the introduction page, the email page, and the series index page have all been updated to be up-to-date. So that's good.
So, I know what you might be thinking to yourself, "Man, when are you gonna post more comparisons!?!? I can't wait much longer!" Well, to hold you over until more comparisons do go up, I have a suggestion. I suggest you all go out and rent/buy the movie "Life as a House" (Hears Dan and Tiff groaning already). Why should you rent/buy this movie you ask? Well, for one; It's only the BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME, two; for the ladies, Hayden Christensen (ie - Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones) is in it, three; for the men, Jena Malone is in it, and four, five and six, IT'S THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!!! Seriously, I rented this movie last week on the advice of a friend and I was suprised to have loved it so much. A truly heartwarming and touching story. Also stars Kevin Kline and Kristen Scott Thomas for fans of those people. If anyone wants to talk "Life as a House" too, I'd love to =) Hey, maybe if enough people go out and rent/buy the movie I'll be "convinced" to do more comparisons. Eh? Eh? See, you give a little, you get a little. Now, go my underlings!! GO SEE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!
That's all for now =)
I know it's amazing but...Tiff has updated her two cents *GASP PASS OUT DIE* I added my two cents to all the SMC (first season) comparisons that have been done. I don't know if i'll bother with S and SuperS yet becuase I haven't seen SuperS yet (dubbed or subbed) and I only saw some of S (I'm lacking maybe 8 eps). Anyway, enjoy!
Today is the day for three Sailor Moon DVD releases and two VHSs. ADV's third and fourth Sailor Moon DiC dub DVDs are out, and so is the third set of Pioneer's SuperS releases. I got my DVD yesterday though. ^_^ Therefore, today I scanned the covers, and put them up in the cover art scetion. I also put up the links to the DVD2 scans I did a while back, as I guess I forgot to put up the liks to that, sorry about that. ^^;;;;; This is another good release by Pioneer, though there was a cover change all of a sudden with Mako-chan on the front and Minako-sama on the reverse and insert foldout, but that's pretty much the only suprise. The extra is a karoke of the second ED, there isn't one for the first ED because there's no kanji-less version, which disappoints me because I love its song, but I'll live. I haven't watched it yet due to my to watch pile growing, work, and recoding MKBO, so I can't really say anything of how the translation is, but I'm sure Bob will get it soon and comment on it after he sees it. Until then, enjoy the new art!
Graduation is tomorrow!!!! Tomorrow I'll finally be done with high school *thank kami-sama*. Anyway, I've made a small **CONTENT** update! *GASP* I know. Screen caps have been added for episode 109. Yes, this means that I have DVD software again and that Screen Caps can once again resume. Big thanks to Dan for sending me the software!! I'll have more up in the coming weeks.
I just talked to Tiff for a bit online, and she's been uber sick lately, and tells me to tell you that she promises to get her editorial up as soon as humanly possible. Get well soon, Tiff!
You think I would've been smart enough to have checked this out before making that last update.... -_-;;;; Anyways, the coverart for the third set of ADV DVDs has been made availble and can now been seen in the ADV DVD cover archive in the misc section.
My update is also non-content >.< but I thought it would be good to check in with a few things. There has been no SM news since CN posted they'll be airing all 159 dubbed episodes, I haven't found those two covers and one date for the ADV VHSs to make that section, so I haven't really been able to post anything. I refuse, however, to post any rumors on this site, which is why there was no article or anything on a big one the last time I updated.
Onto other things, Sailor Moon started from the beginning yesterday on Cartoon Network. I was working yesterday, so I didn't get to see it, but today I was off and watched it. I liked seeing the old dubs on TV again, and Cartoon Network made this excellent eyecatch, replacing the boring DiC one. It's good to see that they're treating the show well, though I wish there were some promos for it, I'm sure half the Hamtaro promos could've been replaced for this. Specking of which, the two shows should switch timeslots. Hamtaro is NOT an Toonami show and Sailor Moon has been on Toonami the second longest out of any show (Dragon Ball Z is obviously the first). But complaining about that would be more suited for an editorial, maybe I'll do one this summer as it's been a long time since I've wrote (don't take my work for it though), so I'll just stop right there on that subject.
And on a completely unrelated note, I made a weblog. Figure there's a lot of stuff for me to comment on through everyday life and other stuff, so I started one tonight. It's not much of anything right now, still a very basic layout until I put some time and effort into it, but it's a start and I'll be doing more to make it look somewhat nice in the week. It's here if anyone wants to see my ramblings of anything and everything. Also updated my stuff on the about us page a bit, seeing as I haven't touched that blurb in about a year. Guess that's it for now, ja!
Tiff here! well, i'm off to a-kon for the weekend in Dallas, TX. If any of you will be there, look for either a Digiko from DigiCharat or an Utena Rose Bride from Utena with the name tag "SerenityMoon" ^^ that'll be me! I'll come back with an editorial on animecons and pictures. Ja!
First, I'd like to apologize in advance, as this is a non-content update. =/ I know I haven't updated in a month, and haven't done a comparison in over two months. I've been very busy. Luckily though, school is ending soon, I graduate on June 10th, so after that I'll have lots of free time on my hands. Updates should pick up after that. Also, once Dan sends me the new software to take screen caps with, updates with the screen caps will resume as well.
Now, I know a lot of you have been inquiring about Sailor Moon X. Sailor Moon X is not a new confirmed season. There are signs pointing to this being credible, and signs pointing to it not being credible. As soon as some solid evidence emerges, we'll be sure to report on it.
That's about it, I'd like to end with a shameless plug, SHAMELESS PLUG!!!!! ~_^ That is all.
WAI!! the kawaiinosenshi is graduating and getting her associate's degree tomorrow! therefore, the kawaiinosenshi hasn't been able to update in the guestbook or anywhere else lately! after tomorrow, most of the stress shall be gone, so expect an editorial on animecons! ja!
Things always happen when you're busy. Yesterday I was making plans with my mom and starting to pack a few things to get brought home tonight, so we won't be overstuffing the car on Friday, and Cartoon Network updated their schedule. I checked before going to work this morning, and now just before going to bed (about 15 hours passed, probably 16), and they finally updated what I wanted them to. The results from that update can be found in today's news article.
Looking around for news on the status of the premium metal EVA boxes, hoping they'll ship soon so I can get mine before going home, I find absoluetly nothing on them, but I did find two pieces of Sailor Moon news from ADV, so I made a news post on them. One of them is just an announcement of more DVDs, but the second one I'm sure most will find interesting. Head on over to misc to see what's going behind the doors of ADV.
Also, Cartoon Network is apperently on a crusade to piss me off, as well as many Sailor Moon fans awaiting the June airing of the show. Since they're press release on all the changes in the weekday lineups in June and me announcing on here that Sailor Moon was making its return to the network, I have gone to their TV schedules every day at least twice, waiting for the June schedule to be posted there, with the episode titles of what will be aired. Until yesterday, the calendar didn't go past June 2nd. Sometime between 3AM and 10AM yesterday, they finally put up the complete June 2002 schedule. Happy that they finally posted the schedle, I head over to June 3rd and scroll down to the 3:30PM slot to see which episode they're gonna start with. I get there, and instead of an episode title, where the episode title should be, they put "Sailor Moon (TVY7-FV)" (or something close along those lines). And sure enough, for every weekday in June, that's what the schedule says. No episode titles, and no hints to what season(s) whatsoever. I'll keep an eye on the schedule in hopes something useful will pop up, but right now, it's anyone's guess as to what will air starting in June.
I have started that "cleaning" I spoke of earlier. First off, Ian and I have made peace, yay! Thus, I've altered things in the editorial I wrote a few weeks ago, and I've had to take down the responses =(. It's a worthy sacrifice though ^_^. I've also made a few changes to Episode 122 and a small edit in the last batch of updates we had (June 2001 - October 2001). "Cleaning" will continue on through the weekend. Remember, if you see any mistakes/outdated stuff/etc, email me and I'll be sure to take a look.
