July 27th, 2002 Dan - News from Otakon
Big news from Otakon today. While Anime Expo lacked any Sailor Moon news whatsoever, Otakon had news from ADV about Sailor Moon, head on over to the new news section (well, really renamed misc section, we renamed it to news/misc so news is more attracted to, it seems like people don't go over to misc to see the news, so yeah) to see the details. Tomorrow afternoon is when Pioneer is going to have their panel at Otakon, so there might be some news from them hopefully too.

July 13th, 2002 Dan - New news blurb
Just got an e-mail when I got home from work which has sparked yet another news article. This would have to be a record of most news blurbs in a short period of time not including DVD and coverart updates. Head over to misc and see what's going on now.

July 13th, 2002 Dan - Two cents and CWi letter
Being bored before work, I was browisng through sites and found that the Sailor Senshi Page had updated a couple days ago with a letter she had recieved directly from Cloverway regarding Sailor Stars. Head on over to her site or the misc section to see this letter. This past Wednesday was definetly the big day regarding SM news. Oh yeah, added in my two cents for episode 12.

I'M BACK. DID YOU MISS ME? *hears nothing but dead silence* You guys suck. suck suck suck. *throws episode comparison #12 out into the crowd* There, enjoy you greedy greedy people! >=P
Over the next couple of days, I'm going to be trying something that'll hopefully get episode comparisons done quicker, but it's yet to be seen if it can counteract my overwhelming laziness. Also, in past episode comparisons, I've listed EVERY SINGLE CUT there is, no matter how small. From now on, there will be a change of policy. DiC does way too many small snippet cuts, so if a small one like that happens like that and is almost unnoticeable, I will not be listing it. Only when there is a collection of snippets within close proximity will I list it.

Thanks to an announcement made a few hours ago, and some digging for info when looking for some details, I have a big news article about Pioneer and the SuperS releases. It takes a good look into what's going on and their plans, as well as what's already been done. Possibly my biggest news update yet, and still so much unanswered. Head on over to misc and read up on everything going on regarding SuperS.

July 10th, 2002 Dan - More cover art
I found coverart for ADV's fourth set of dub DVDs, so they've been added to the ADV DVD coverart archive. Also, for all you computer guys that are smarter than me, you've noticed that Bob and Tiff's weblogs use blogger, while I code my own to fake a weblog feel. This is because I can't publish through the blogger site. I dunno why, but whenever I try to publish something through it, it just, stops. Any help on that would be greatly appreicated, thanx!

Hey! Happy July! Or...something of that nature...Before we start I will address movies YOU GUYS need to see if you haven't seen them already. Note - These are in no particular order! =P
1 - Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
2 - Spiderman
3 - Lilo and Stitch
4 - Minority Report
5 - Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
6 - Life as a House
If you've seen all of those, kudos to you! If not, you're missing out. =P While we're on the subject, movies you should NOT see include Scooby Doo, the movie coming out called "Eight Legged Freaks" (it looks increadibly stupid), and The Sum of All Fears (Not that it's a bad movie, it's just I have a personal grudge against this movie for some reason =P).

Ok, finally, what you've been waiting for.....*TRUMPETS SOUND*....Another episode comparison has gone up! Episode 10 is now up for your viewing pleasure! Episodes 11 and 12 should go up soon.
Also, I should note that I left out a very important thing in my mini-review of the latest SS DVD review. Yes, the episode Clothes Call WAS on the DVD, and yes Fish Eye is STILL a woman. Quite wierd considering you can see a very male chest.....Either that or the dub wants you to think Fish Eye is an extremely flat chested woman.

All right, guys. I have an announcement. Our guestbook is NOT a message board. I really really enjoy some of the regulars that come in here, but we really need to keep this under control. Making one or two posts is fine, but please don't keep posting over and over to just ask questions or to make conversation. If you'd like to talk to one of us, go to the 'about us' section and talk to us over AIM or whatever. This constant posting is flooding the guestbook. The point of the guestbook is for constructive criticism, compliments, or suggestions. Questions are to be emailed to the appropriate person (consult the email section). So if you want to correspond with us on a semi-regular to regular basis, do it through email or instant messaging, please. Thanks! =D

June 20th, 2002 Bob - Little rant
Hello all. First off, you can stop e-mailing me about Life as a House =P. I was halfway kidding about not doing comparisons until someone e-mailed me about it. Last night I did another comparison in notes and I plan on doing one more, so expect 3 new comparisons coming your way soon. Plus, I learned Hayden Christensen smoked this morning >_<;; yuck...Call me shallow, but whenever I like and actor/actress and I learn they smoke, it always makes me like the movies they're in less. Smoking is such a horrible thing to do to yourself. Oh well, a shame cause Life as a House really is a good movie. Anyway, this is the last time I'm going to bring up Life as a House (*hears Dan and Tiff rejoicing*) so there's no need for more e-mailing, comparisons ARE on their way =P.
Second, I picked up the 3rd SMSS DVD, and here's my little mini-review. The coverart is excellent as usual, the episodes are consistant as far as translation goes with the other DVDs, there's no special extras aside from the Kareoke version of "Rasiku Ikimasho". Basically, there's nothing new and exciting about this DVD as compared to the other DVDs. It sucks cause with each release, I'm getting less and less interested in the new DVD cause there's NOTHING special about them compared to the others. However, we do need to keep buying them if we want a Stars DVD release, so use your own judgement there. I just wish Pioneer would do a bit more to make their DVDs more interesting *sigh*.
