October 29th, 2004 Dan - Apology and rant

No update, just an explination and apology as to what has been going on all week. To make a long story short, it appears that somehow a Time Warner bill hasn't gotten paid and they cut off the digital cable and internet to my house. My housemate who pays all the bills deposited a few checks just before this happened, and has been waiting for them to clear so those funds can be used to pay the bill(s). However, as of today, for whatever reason those checks haven't been added in yet, so there is still no internet at my house. Since it doesn't look like it will be back anytime this weekend knowing our luck, I've taken measures to get phobos back online until we do get it back. My longtime friend Kev has very graciously let me keep phobos at his house until the situation gets squared away, so the site can be onine like it should be. It appears that everything is working correctly as I type this, which I'm happy to see. And on another positive note for this inconvience, at least I can get phobos moved anywhere without a problem which will make things very easy when it comes time for me to move from where I am now to whereever I'll end up being this spring.

Once again, I deeply apologize for this inconvience. I had no idea that anything like this would happen. Had I known that today we still wouldn't have the internet, I would've moved phobos a few days ago. This should not happen again (with the exception of power outages or cable lines going down of course) and I'm sorry this happened at all.

On the note of comparisons, more are coming soon. The only reason the ball stopped rolling was that somehow on my dub tapes, an episode was skipped. Don't know whose fault that is since these tapes were made years ago, but I have recentally ordered a few of the dub DVDs with that episode as well as any potentially missed episodes. Also something worthy to note is that with the two versions of dub episode 41, since I'll now have both, I should have a lot more notes regarding the differences between those versions as well as versus the original. Hell for me, but good info for all of you. That's fairly far off still, but I thought I'd at least give it a mention.
